Food and Resource Assistance

At The Other Way, we believe food is power and all neighbors have a right to that power. We work to offer Good Food that prevents chronic disease, increases productivity in the classroom, community, and workplace; and promotes equity to our members.

Early Childhood Education

Our Little Lights Program is a partnership with with the Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative (link to ELNCGR.org) to provide tuition-free infant, toddler, and pre-school program for income-qualifying families. The center program uses evidenced-based curriculum and practices, and participation includes meals, diapers, and formula at no cost,as well as a number of family supports including, teacher home visits, resource referrals, dental and developmental screenings, supports for special needs students, and other services.

Community Programs

Reaching out to Westtown neighbors through a collection of programs, classes, and services. Each one is tailored to fit a specific need for today with an eye toward building sustainable community growth for tomorrow.

Youth Services

Programs for students in elementary school during the afterschool hours and summer months, and for older youth (teen) programming in the summer.
