Summer at The Other Way Ministries: Meet Up, Eat, and Belong

At The Other Way Ministries, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and connection.

For over 50 years, we’ve walked alongside families on the West Side of Grand Rapids, offering support, resources, and relationships that reflect the love of Christ. Whether it’s through food access, youth programs, family coaching, or neighborhood outreach, our mission remains simple but powerful: to partner with West Side families in a Christ-centered environment that helps them flourish.

This summer, we’re proud to announce that The Other Way Ministries is an official Meet Up and Eat Site location!

This means free, healthy meals will be available for all children and teens, 18 and under, Monday through Friday, right here at our Activity Center, 704 W. Fulton, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

Summer Meal Schedule

🗓 Monday – Friday
🍳 Breakfast: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
🥪 Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
📍 Location: Activity Center, 704 W. Fulton St.
🚨 Important Note: On Wednesdays, only breakfast will be served on-site due to additional programming.

Whether your child is here for a meal, an activity, or a friendly face, we want every family to know they are welcome. Summer can be a tough time for many households when school meals are no longer available. That’s why we are here—to offer nourishment, consistency, and a safe space for kids to grow, play, and belong.

So come on by, grab a bite, and get to know the neighborhood. We can’t wait to see you.
