West Fulton FRESH Farm Market

FRESH stands for Food and Resources for Equity, Sustainability, and Health – which are the goals of our new market. Located in what used to be our Wellness Center (706 Fulton), the Farm Market offers fresh, local food to low-income neighbors at an accessible price. In the future, the Farm Market will accept EBT/SNAP and Double-Up Food Bucks!

Our market is one part of a collaboration between Access of West MichiganNorth Kent ConnectSECOM Resource Center, The Other Way MinistriesThe Pantry, and United Church Outreach Ministry, funded by Heart of West Michigan United Way. This collaboration means fresh, local food is available in five Kent County neighborhoods!

As a part of our shift towards healthy options for our neighbors, we’ve also created a Healthy Food Policy, which will guide what we offer in our Community Resource Center, Food Pantry, and Farm Market. You can read our Healthy Food Policy here!

If you have questions about the market, you can contact Pantry Market Coordinator Bethany Joseph at 616.454.4011 ext. 5227 or bjoseph@theotherway.org.
